The Tatabánya Museum is an internationally unique exhibition with a complete building complex of an old mine, furnished offices, an open-air machine exhibition and an entrance hall. With the help of the mining company, the coal mine is restored in the old 15th-century shaft, which was made even more complete and unique by constructing the typical residential and secondary buildings of the former Tatabánya mining schools and furnishing them with period furniture.
ATTENTION! The open-air museum is open seasonally from April to November!
